If you're a chocolate lover, this triple chocolate chip Oreo cookie recipe is a true delight. The combination of semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chunks, and cocoa powder creates a deeply rich cookie dough that’s both moist and flavorful. Adding crunchy Oreo pieces into the mix gives a satisfying texture contrast, while the hidden Nutella center adds an irresistible creamy surprise. A key to success in this recipe is to chill the dough for at least two hours before baking. This step helps the flavors to meld and the dough to firm up, preventing the cookies from spreading too thin during baking. I’ve learned that freezing the Nutella balls before stuffing them inside the cookie dough balls makes handling much easier and prevents the filling from oozing out. When it comes to the baking process, keeping a close eye during the last few minutes is important. Baking the cookies at 180°C (350°F) for 10 to 12 minutes ensures a soft and chewy center with slightly crispy edges. Overbaking can dry them out, so pulling them out when they’re just set is ideal. For an extra touch, sprinkling a few chocolate chips or Oreo crumbles on top of each cookie before baking adds to the visual appeal and flavor. These cookies are perfect for sharing at gatherings, gifting, or indulging in a sweet personal treat. If you want to make this recipe your own, try experimenting by adding chopped nuts, using different types of chocolate, or incorporating a pinch of cinnamon for warmth. This recipe offers a versatile base that can be customized to suit your taste preferences.
