cute afternoon tea spot in nyc✨

Café Chili - Thai Cuisine is a cute family run thai restaurant in cobble hill, brooklyn ☕️✨

Ambiance: The decor in this place is so cute. I really liked the chandelier like decor piece - we had an own private space going on - it was great!! The red bricks added to the aesthetic. There were huge candle pieces around the space which I thought was so cute.

💵 Price: $38 per person

• we had the thai afternoon tea set

Favorite Item: My favorite was their macaroons. They were so soft and fresh. The whole set was so cute and so insta worthy. I had my pinterest moment📸💕✨

... Read moreOkay, so I have to spill the tea (pun intended!) on why Café Chili's Thai afternoon tea set is an absolute must-try if you're in Brooklyn. When I was searching for a unique afternoon tea experience, something beyond the usual, I stumbled upon this gem, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Forget your typical scones and finger sandwiches for a moment – this is a whole new level of delightful! The $38 price point felt totally worth it for the quality and the whole 'vibe.' It’s a fantastic option if you're looking for an 'afternoon tea set' that truly stands out from other patisserie offerings. Beyond the delicious bites, the decor itself is a character. Those chandelier-like pieces? Totally stunning and make for the perfect backdrop for your Instagram stories. And having that private space made it feel so exclusive and cozy, like a little secret escape in the middle of the city. I mean, who doesn't love a good red brick aesthetic paired with giant candle pieces? It's just *chefs kiss*. Every corner of this place is screaming 'photo op,' making it perfectly 'insta-worthy.' You’ll absolutely have your Pinterest moment here, snapping away at the beautiful plating and charming interior. Now, about the tea set itself. The macaroons, oh my goodness, were incredibly soft and fresh – truly a highlight. But it wasn't just them; every little savory and sweet bite had such an authentic Thai twist that made it so memorable. Think delicate spring rolls, flavorful skewers, and unique desserts alongside your choice of fragrant tea. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that truly transports you. If you're someone who appreciates a unique culinary adventure beyond the usual, this is definitely for you. It truly gives a fresh perspective on what an 'afternoon tea set' can be, blending traditional elegance with vibrant Thai flavors. And here's a local secret I picked up: while the 'thai afternoon tea' is stellar, 'don't sleep on their dinner menu' either! I heard from a regular that their full Thai dishes are just as incredible and perfect for a cozy evening out. So, if you fall in love with the ambiance and flavors during your tea, you already have your next dinner spot sorted. It makes Café Chili a fantastic all-day spot, not just for a quick tea. It's the kind of charming local 'cafe pepper' that feels like a discovery, offering both an amazing afternoon treat and a solid dinner option right here 'in Brooklyn.' Whether you're looking for a special afternoon out or a consistently good cafe experience, this place delivers on all fronts, making it a true neighborhood treasure and a must-visit in NYC.
