Squid Bibimbap at Guk Su Jip NYC✨

This stone hot squid bibimbap at Guk Su Jip 국수집 - 北方面家 - Cold Korean Noodle Naengmyeon (냉면) & Dolsot Bibimbap was next level. The bowl came out sizzling, packed with perfectly seasoned spicy squid, crisp veggies, and rice that formed that addictive crispy layer at the bottom. Every bite had balance heat, umami, freshness, and texture all working together. Mixing it up was half the fun, and the flavor just kept getting better as it cooked in the stone bowl.

Guk Su Jip may be known for their Korean noodle soups but don’t sleep on their other dishes—this one absolutely stole the show. Plus, they serve unlimited banchan!! and every side dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. That alone already puts the place in elite territory.

If you’re in Flushing, NYC and craving comforting, authentic Korean food that hits hard in the best way, this spot is a must. Come hungry, leave happy!
