Life Changes & Losing Connections
One thing nobody really prepares you for is how much relationships can change after major milestones. Marriage, motherhood, career growth, buying a home… sometimes people quietly disappear from your life for reasons you may never fully understand.
Just sharing some thoughts during another realistic working mama morning routine. 🤍

Life changes often bring about unexpected shifts in our relationships, something I've personally experienced through milestones like marriage, becoming a mother, and advancing in my career. One thing I've learned is that as priorities change, some friendships naturally fade while others deepen. It can be painful when people quietly disappear from your life, especially without clear explanations. I remember mornings during my early days as a working mom when I felt the bittersweet reality of juggling so many roles while noticing the absence of old friends. From my experience, staying open to new connections and nurturing existing strong bonds is crucial. I've started to appreciate that not all relationships are meant to last forever; some serve their purpose and then evolve. This perspective has helped me cope better with the emotional impact of losing touch with people I once considered close. Also, sharing these moments honestly, as in my morning vlogs, creates a sense of community among other working moms facing similar challenges. If you’re navigating similar transitions, my advice is to give yourself grace. It’s okay to feel nostalgic about past connections, but also embrace who you are now and the people who support your current journey. Life’s milestones reshape us, and that includes who we share our lives with. Connecting with others through candid conversations and shared experiences can transform feelings of loss into growth and understanding.
