One question I get asked a lot is
how do I manage vitamins with an autistic child who’s a very fast and picky eater?
The only solution that works now? Smoothies. 🍓🍌
He won’t touch store-bought ones, but he loves homemade. I mix in magnesium, iron (which tastes strong!), and other supplements. The trick? A splash of strawberry milk — sweet enough to cover the taste, and since he doesn’t eat sweets or candy, it feels like a little treat for him.
It’s not perfect, but it works, and for me, that’s a win.
