Letting the chili simmer slowly helps develop deep, robust flavors. For the fries, crispy oven-baked or air-fried fries work wonderfully to hold up the generous toppings without becoming soggy. Once ready, layering the fries with a hearty scoop of chili and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese creates an irresistible dish. You can then melt the cheese under a broiler for a few minutes to get that perfect gooey topping.
