Yoshi + Twirl = Eevee ?
Oh my goodness, can we talk about Eevee and Yoshi for a moment? You know, my two amazing ragdoll cats who are the absolute stars of the comic you just saw! I get so many questions about them, especially how they inspire all these fun little stories like 'Boshi's Kissing Booth.' Well, let me tell you, life with these two fluffballs is never dull, and that's where all the creative juice comes from! Eevee, with her gentle blue eyes and soft fur, is such a sweetheart but also a little mischief-maker when she thinks no one is looking. Yoshi, on the other hand, is the more stoic, majestic one, but he loves his 'treatos' more than anything! Their personalities are so distinct, and I often imagine what kind of adventures they'd get into if they could talk (or run a kissing booth!). That's how the idea for Boshi (my playful nod to Yoshi!) and his adorable, albeit sometimes 'defective,' Kissing Booth came to life. We had so much fun putting that little comic together, imagining all the silly things that could happen when a pet-run business goes a little bit awry. It's truly inspired by their everyday antics! Creating these little snippets, whether it's a comic or a short video, is my way of sharing the immense joy and endless entertainment they bring into my life. And trust me, getting them to 'cooperate' for photo shoots or story ideas can sometimes feel like trying to fix a 'malfunction' in a complex machine – but it's always worth it for the laughs! Just like in the comic, where things go a bit sideways, there's always a funny moment or a cute pose that makes all the effort worthwhile. Remember that 'January 31st' date in the comic? That was actually the day I decided to finally finish and share the first draft of this silly kissing booth idea with a friend, and they absolutely loved it! It’s amazing how a simple date can become a little inside joke and a personal milestone for a creative project. For anyone who adores ragdoll cats, you know they have this incredible, floppy nature and they just love being around their humans. They're super affectionate, incredibly vocal in their own ways, and make the best companions. If you're thinking about adding a ragdoll to your family, be prepared for endless cuddles, playful pounces, and a constant source of inspiration for your own stories! My biggest tip? Embrace their quirks! Eevee sometimes seems to 'malfunction' when she's playing with a toy and flops over dramatically in the most unexpected places, and Yoshi can be a bit 'defective' at understanding personal space when he wants attention – but these are the very moments that make them truly unique and lovable. They're not just pets; they're cherished family members who truly enrich every single day with their presence. I hope seeing their little comic brought a smile to your face, just like they bring one to mine every single day! And who knows what Eevee and Yoshi will inspire next!
