私も「賃貸だとクリスマスツリー、買うか悩む…」「置き場所ないし、片付ける場所もない…」で何年も先延ばししてました。特に小さい頃は、倒しそう・口に入れそうでヒヤヒヤしますよね。だからこそ、もしその時期を過ぎて“迷っているだけ”なら、思い切ってみるタイミングかも…と感じています。子どもの『今の反応』って、あとで気づいた時にはもう見られないから。 うちは省スペース優先で、まずはニトリのクリスマスツリーを候補にしました。選び方のコツは「高さ」と「幅（枝を広げた時の直径）」を先に決めること。賃貸のリビングだと、150cm前後は見栄えと圧迫感のバランスがよく、120cm台は“出し入れの気軽さ”が強い印象でした。置く場所は、通路を避けて壁際かテレビボード横に固定ポジションを作ると、生活動線が崩れにくいです。 片付け問題は、最初から“しまう場所込み”で考えるとラクでした。私はツリーの箱のまま収納せず、枝を軽くまとめて大きめの収納袋（布団袋みたいなタイプ）に入れて、クローゼット上段やベッド下へ。オーナメントは種類別にジップ袋→小箱にまとめると、次の年に「探す時間」が激減します。さらにおすすめは、飾り付けを「毎年増やさない」ルール。お気に入りだけ残して、増えすぎを防ぐと収納が破綻しません。 子どもがノリノリで飾りつけしてくれる年って、実は短いかも…と小学生になってからしみじみ。だからこそ、今年まだ迷っているなら、ツリーは“モノ”というより家族のイベント時間を買う感覚で選ぶのもアリでした。ニトリのツリーはサイズ展開も多いので、まずは無理のない高さから始めてみると、賃貸でも意外とどうにかなります。
