Famous JalapeƱo Popper Dip šŸŒ¶ļø

This is my favorite thing to bring to any party. Take my word on this, if anybody asks me to bring an app this is almost single handily what I bring every time. This is the perfect appetizer to bring to any occasion! Everybody will be asking for the recipe!

Famous to my friends and Family.

Ingredients:

Breadcrumbs:

Panko breadcrumbs - 1 cup

Butter - 1 tbsp, melted

Salt and pepper to taste

JalapeƱo dip:

Butter - 1 tbsp

2 fresh jalapeƱos - diced

Diced mild green chiles - 8oz (2 4oz cans)

Cream cheese - 8 oz

Sour cream - 1 cup

Mayo - 1/2 cup

Sharp cheddar cheese - 1 cup

Ranch seasoning - 1.5 tbsp

Garlic powder - 1 tsp

Onion powder - 1 tsp

Dried parsley - 1 tsp

Paprika - 1/2 tsp

Salt - 1/8 tsp

Black pepper - 1/8 tsp

*feel free to add more seasonings to your taste*

*throw in cooked bacon, cooked ground beef, or diced green onions into the mixture to amplify this recipe*šŸ„“šŸ„©šŸ§…

On the other hand, for a milder version that everyone can enjoy, make sure to thoroughly remove all seeds and membranes from your jalapeƱos. Using only the mild diced green chilies (as the original recipe suggests, and the OCR also highlights) is key to keeping the heat down. I've also found that adding a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of your favorite hot sauce to the mixture can really amp up the flavor for those who crave more heat. Another fantastic way to enhance this dip is by adding some protein. The original recipe mentions cooked bacon or ground beef, and I can confirm, crispy cooked bacon is a game-changer!
