Easy High Protein Bagels

LOOOOOVE these bagels and they provide such low calories for high protein! great for a quick grab on your way out the door, meal prepping throughout the week, and anyone looking for substitutions for weight loss. these make amazing egg white and spinach bagel breakfast sandwiches 😮‍💨

•170 Cals & 24g of protein per bagel•

•recipe makes 3 bagels, double the recipe for more•

•ingredients•

-120 grams of King Arthur Keto Wheat Flour

-227g of Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt

-2 tsp of baking powder

-1/4 tsp of salt

-1 egg (for egg washing the dough at the end)

•how to•

-preheat oven to 400

-combine all dry ingredients into a mixing bowl (flour, baking powder, and salt)

-then combine the greek yogurt into the dry ingredients using a fork

-once combine either use your hands to knead the dough or 30 seconds with a dough hook using a kitchen aid.

•THE DOUGH WILL BE STICKY! so you can flour your hands or use gloves sprayed with a little cooking spray•

-line baking sheet with parchment paper and form doughs (i do 100 gram balls) into a bagel shape. make sure the hole is a little bigger than a quarter as they do puff up a lot in the oven.

-crack and whisk an egg and brush egg wash onto the tops of the bagels

-bake for 22 mins!

-allow to cool and enjoy 😋

•you can store these in a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep fresh throughout the week•
