You can ignore your intuition part time, but you can’t ignore it full time.
A huge sign something needs to change, is the feeling continuing to come back that something needs to change.

From my experience, high-achieving men often fall into the trap of rationalizing their feelings to avoid facing uncomfortable truths. I used to dismiss that persistent inner voice telling me something was off, convincing myself with logic that everything was fine. However, this mental gaslighting only prolonged my struggles and led to increased stress and unhappiness. Intuition isn’t about vague sensations; it’s often a deeply rooted alert from our unconscious mind, signaling that something fundamental isn’t aligned. The hardest part is recognizing when your intellect is working against you by downplaying or rationalizing those signals. For example, telling yourself "it's not so bad" or "I can handle this" repeatedly can prevent you from making needed changes. Learning to trust that inner voice requires practice and sometimes courage to face the changes it demands. When I started paying attention to my intuition and accepting that it was guiding me towards something better, I was able to break free from patterns of self-sabotage. It’s also important to remember that logic and intellect are invaluable tools, but they have their limits. Intuition can reveal insights that pure reasoning cannot, especially in complex or emotionally charged situations. If you notice the feeling that "something needs to change" coming back persistently, that is a sign worth honoring. Incorporating mindfulness or journaling can help make those intuitive messages clearer. Reflect on what your gut feeling is telling you, especially if it challenges your usual way of thinking. Over time, by embracing rather than suppressing your intuition, you can create a more authentic and balanced life aligned with your true self.
