how to achieve motion blur photos
motion blur is a very trendy type of photo right now, and for good reason! it can add such depth and emotion to a photo. It took me a long time to figure out the perfect way to create motion blur, using my digital camera, so I want to help people figure it out a little easier! My biggest tip is to bring your shutter speed down along with your ISO and crank your f stop up!

Motion blur photography is a captivating technique that can dramatically enhance the storytelling aspect of your images. By intentionally creating a streaking effect, you can convey motion, energy, and emotion in a way that static images simply cannot. To start, it's vital to understand the fundamental relationship between shutter speed, ISO, and aperture. Lowering the shutter speed allows you to capture the movement of your subject while maintaining clarity in the surrounding areas. For example, settings like 1/25 second shutter speed combined with an ISO of 160 and an aperture of f/7.1 are excellent for photographing subjects in motion during low-light conditions, such as during sunrise. Experimenting with these settings according to your environment will help you find the sweet spot that best captures the essence of the motion you’re trying to portray. Remember, using a tripod can help stabilize your camera if shooting at slower speeds, providing sharper results when you're focused on achieving that blurred effect. Additionally, consider using panning techniques, where you follow the movement of your subject with the camera, to create even more dynamic images. Happy shooting, and enjoy the creative process of capturing motion blur!
