Fukuoka Zoo, not your typical zoo 🦓
First thing that shocked me, the ticket is so cheap, and it even includes entry to the botanical garden next door. One ticket, double the nature 🌳✨
Even though I went on a weekend, it wasn’t crowded at all. The botanical garden especially felt super relaxing, lots of greenery, quiet paths, and perfect spots to just stroll and leaf your worries behind 🍃
Definitely a nice spot for families, couples, or anyone who just wants a slow day out.
The animals were cute, but I have to admit… some of them looked a little paws-itively bored, almost like they were doing time in tiny animal apartments 🥲
Still, it’s a peaceful place to walk around, take photos, and spend a calm afternoon.
If you’re in Fukuoka and looking for something affordable, quiet, and nature-filled, this might just zoo your kind of place 🐾

i would refrain anyone from recommending to visit japan zoos, they are extremely depressing and that is how the way animals are treated in Japan in general. Zoo is never a humane place for people to visit, period.
