Just finished this book….

So I just finished “Lights Out” and I was surprised. I am not a major 🌶️ reader, and I knew going in it was spicy, buttttt I gave it a try anyway.

I would say 3.5/5 ⭐️

*probably a spoiler ahead*

I was surprised because I was not expecting a mostly-consensual book. (I’m not sad about it, just wasn’t the direction I thought it was going) I was expecting more dark fiction on the story, although, the story line was pretty meh.

I’ve queued up the next one “Caught up” and am 4 chapters in, but really not hooked so we will see. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh my gosh! This was my first every murder mystery book, and I was hooked within the first few pages. Honestly, I would talk about this book, but if I do, I know I'll be giving stuff away. I got to get to see what the other books in this series are about. It's a definite recommendation!
