The first criticism of homeschool I always hear is "but don't you want them to be socialized"

...but most homeschool kids ARE socialized

Many homeschool families join a co-op, which is a group of homeschool families where the parents help out other parents with teaching their kids.

These are usually multiple age groups so children get the opportunity to socialize with many age groups instead of just their own.

Most homeschool kids also are in a club, sport community group, or other type of extracurricular activities and homeschool kid are often more active in their communities. I remember having many homeschool kids in my 4-H group and on my swim team when I was a kid.
