Pictures I will never post on insta

... Read moreEver poured your heart into a photoshoot, only to realize later that the magic just isn't there? I've been there! It's so disheartening when you have a vision – maybe a cozy setup on a 'dark bed' with 'string lights,' wearing your favorite 'blue sparkly top' and 'white skirt' – but the final shots come out looking low quality, or not at all what you imagined. That's why I've learned that preventing last-minute changes and ensuring every shot is high-quality starts long before you even press the shutter. My biggest lesson? Planning is your superpower. First, scout your location and lighting conditions thoroughly. If you're shooting indoors, understand how natural light enters the room throughout the day. For my 'dark bed' shoot, I loved the idea of 'string lights' for ambiance, but I didn't realize how much they'd affect the overall brightness and create tricky 'colorful reflections.' Now, I always do a test run with my phone first, taking a few snaps at different times to see how the light falls. This helps me decide if I need extra lighting equipment or if I should adjust my shoot time. Next, prepare your outfits and props with the lighting in mind. That 'blue sparkly top' might look amazing in bright sunlight, but under dim 'string lights,' its sparkle could get lost or create unwanted glare. Think about how textures and colors react to different light sources. For poses like 'kneeling' or 'reclining' with 'arms raised,' the way light hits your body can dramatically change the mood and quality. If you're aiming for a moody vibe, embrace the shadows, but make sure there's still enough light to define your subject cleanly, avoiding that dreaded grainy look. Create a detailed mood board and shot list. This isn't just for inspiration; it's a roadmap. Knowing exactly what poses you want (like specific 'kneeling' or 'reclining' variations) and the overall aesthetic helps you communicate your vision clearly, whether you're working with a photographer or shooting self-portraits. It also helps you spot potential issues beforehand. For example, if your board shows a bright, airy feel, but your location is inherently dark, you know you need to adjust your lighting strategy significantly. Finally, always have a backup plan for lighting. What if the sun decides to hide? What if your string lights suddenly flicker? I’ve learned to carry a small, portable LED light or even a reflector. They can be lifesavers for bouncing light and filling in shadows, ensuring that even if unexpected changes happen, you're still able to capture those stunning, clear photos you envisioned. Investing a little time in these preventative steps means fewer "never post" pictures and more confidence in every shot you take!

For almost 10 years (8) I worked for Walmart. From 2015- 2023 Through the early times, to the Covid times, Black Friday and everything you can think of that comes with RETAIL. I miss the people, not so much the stress. So I eventually quit and moved on to better things #exwalmartemployee #

unfiltered pics I love but would never post
These are all memories that I love and remember being so happy in, but will never post them because I just don’t feel confident enough to do so and I feel like it’s not really the norm to post cute memories that aren’t aesthetic, which is sad but unfortunately it’s hard to break that habit and norm

How to make your pictures POP!
I get asked fairly frequently about how I take such beautiful dark and moody pictures. And while it seems so simple and easy to me I realized it boils down to a few steps which anyone can do. I will keep this brief and simple! Subject: look around and choose a subject that you want to create so
