98% of the time: BUSY
90% of the time: fighting or wrestling
89% of the time: eating something
1% of the time: awake but sitting still
And yes, that is well over 100% bc boys feel like more than 100%
See the key to mothering boys is that you just never sit down, never stop handing out snacks, and never… I repeat NEVER take your eyes off them 🙈
Oh! And always get outside if weather allows! Boys need to be outside lolol
Anyone relate or…? 🙋🏼♀️
(and girl moms please chime in, I appreciate all aspects to motherhood since I don’t have my own experience with girls LOL)

As a mom of boys myself, I can totally relate to the nonstop whirlwind of activity described here. Boys really do seem to operate at over 100% energy all the time! One day, I tried to sit down and relax, but within minutes I was on my feet handing out snacks or chasing after some wrestling match in the living room. It's like they never run out of steam. Getting outside has been a lifesaver for us. Whether it's a quick trip to the park or just some backyard playtime, fresh air helps burn off that endless energy and keeps the boys happier indoors afterward. I also learned the hard way that snacks are an essential survival tool—even if it feels like you're a walking vending machine! Keeping healthy, easy-to-grab snacks nearby keeps everyone fueled and less cranky. The humorous part is the constant vigilance required—it’s almost like your eyes can't leave them for a second. But honestly, it’s rewarding to see their imaginations and energy in full swing. To other boy moms out there, cheering you on because it’s a unique kind of challenging but incredibly joyful experience. And to the girl moms—I’d love to hear how your experiences compare! The community and shared stories really make motherhood feel less lonely, no matter the gender of your kids.
