... Read moreToday, I want to share more about how dancing has become a powerful tool for me, especially on days when I don't feel my best physically or mentally. Although I woke up feeling sick and moved a little slower, dancing helps me shake off the heaviness that comes with both illness and lingering depression. For years, I struggled with depression that made getting out of bed seem impossible. Dance transformed this experience, giving me a reason to start my day with intention and movement, even when I’m not at 100%. It's not about perfection or tiring myself out but about expressing what I can and letting the rhythm guide me. Day 123 marks a significant milestone in my ongoing journey. Each day I start by dancing, I feel a little more alive and in control, despite setbacks like feeling unwell. This routine has become a small, yet meaningful way to improve my mental health and find joy even during difficult times. If you ever find yourself having a hard day—whether due to illness, sadness, or lack of motivation—I highly recommend trying something simple like dancing. It doesn't have to be long or complicated; just moving your body to your favorite music can help change your mood and outlook. It’s a gentle reminder that you are still here, still capable, and deserving of moments of happiness.
