The Nikon FM3A is the last manual focus film SLR made by Nikon. It is the successor to the FM/FE series, and embodies everything Nikon had learned in the past 50+ years they had been designing, and manufacturing cameras.
You can tell just by holding this camera how much love went into developing it. It’s truly a camera made for the fans of the FM/FE series, and was a beautiful goodbye to the manual focus/film era of photography.
👍Pros: It’s sleek, stylish, and has functionality that still hold up to modern cameras such as 1/4000 shutter speed, automatic exposure modes, and a brilliant light meter.
🤔Cons: It’s hard to find, the price is more than most people should pay, and film is expensive to shoot/develop.
⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: If you can find one at a good price, and can afford it, this is one of the best 35mm film cameras you can buy.
