... Read moreHaving gone through similar school routines myself, I completely understand how challenging it can feel to keep up with everything. Waking up in a less-than-ideal mood is something many students experience, and it often sets the tone for the day. One tip I found helpful is to spend a couple of minutes right after waking up focusing on positive affirmations or taking deep breaths; it doesn’t fix everything but can improve your mindset slightly. Getting ready—dressing up, brushing your teeth, and doing your hair—can also be a rush, especially when you’re not feeling motivated. To make this easier, I try to prepare my outfit the night before and keep all essentials like my backpack and lunch ready, so mornings aren’t so frantic. The toughest part is often the school hours themselves, particularly when the day feels terrible. I learned that taking short breaks between classes, staying hydrated, and trying to find a small thing I enjoy each day can provide little boosts of encouragement. After school sports and practice can be exhausting but also serve as a great outlet to release stress and improve focus. Coming home to relax and sometimes taking a shower helps me reset before winding down for the night. Eating a good meal afterward replenishes energy, but it’s also important to eat mindfully rather than just bingeing on whatever’s in the fridge. Finally, the thought of repeating the routine tomorrow can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down into smaller manageable parts helps me stay grounded.
