Ingredients:

For the Bread Bowl:

1 round sourdough loaf (or any crusty bread of your choice)

For the Shrimp Filling:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chicken or seafood stock

1/4 cup diced carrots

1/4 cup diced celery

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Bread Bowl:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut off the top of the sourdough loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges to create a sturdy bowl. Save the bread pieces for dipping.

Place the bread bowl and lid on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes to crisp up.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
