Fullmoons and how to use them
Each fullmoon carried different things we can use it for and hoe to work with it #moonwork #fullmoon
Hey moon lovers! I've been diving deep into the magic of full moons, and let me tell you, each one truly offers a unique opportunity for growth and transformation. It’s not just a pretty sight – it's a powerful moment to tap into ancient energies! I always thought a full moon was just a full moon, but I've learned that every month brings its own special vibe and purpose. For example, the Wolf Moon in January is incredible for connecting with your inner power and setting intentions for the year ahead. I love to light a candle and really focus on what I want to manifest. Then there's the Snow Moon in February, perfect for deep cleansing and confronting those truths you might have been avoiding. I find it's a great time for journaling and releasing old patterns. As spring arrives, the Worm Moon in March invites new growth and spring cleaning, both literally and energetically. It’s all about balance and getting ready for what’s to come. April's Pink Moon is a burst of discovery and plant magic – I often start new seeds or tend to my garden with extra intention during this phase. And when the Flower Moon blooms in May, it’s a beautiful time to celebrate life and embrace fertility in all its forms, whether that's creative projects or personal growth. Fairy magic feels extra strong then! June's Strawberry Moon is all about nature, harvest, and sensuality. I like to take a moment to savor the simple pleasures and reflect on my personal harvest. Come July, the Buck Moon really ignites that inner fire! It’s perfect for intense inner work, harvesting herbs, and assessing your path forward. The Sturgeon Moon in August brings feelings of delight and freedom. It's a wonderful time to release what no longer serves you, like seeing your own darkness and cleansing it away, preparing for new gatherings and even storm & weather magic. As autumn approaches, the Harvest Moon is a time for celebration and abundance – a moment to share what you've gathered and find balance between light and dark. October's Hunter's Moon is all about strength and protection. I feel a surge of endurance and often seek guidance for upcoming challenges. It's truly a time for transformation. The Beaver Moon in November encourages deep remembrance and self-reflection. It’s a powerful period for divination and transitions, helping you prepare for the quieter months ahead. Finally, the Oak Moon in December brings a sense of completion and rebirth. It’s a perfect time to review personal goals and renew your spirit for the next cycle. Beyond these specific energies, I always make sure to cleanse my crystals under the full moon and do a releasing ritual, writing down what I want to let go of and safely burning it. It's amazing how much lighter I feel afterwards. Each full moon is a gift, offering a chance to connect with something ancient and profound within ourselves and the world around us. What will you do with your next full moon?
