産後はホルモンバランスの急激な変動により、ママの心と体に大きな変化が生じます。私自身も産後は涙が止まらず、ホルモンの影響で感情が不安定になることを体験しました。特に『ガルガル期』と呼ばれる時期は赤ちゃんを守ろうとする本能が強まり、精神的にとてもナーバスになりやすいです。この時期、パパが積極的に食事を用意したり、マッサージなどで身体のケアを手伝ってくれると、とても助かりました。また、産後うつは10人に1人のママに起こる可能性があり、特に6〜8週目に多いと言われています。私も何度か気持ちが落ち込むことがありましたが、パパが「頑張ってるよ」と声をかけてくれたり、家事や育児を分担してくれたことで乗り越えられました。ママは初めての育児で試行錯誤する新入社員のようなものです。何でも知っているわけではないので、わからないことは一緒に調べたり聞いたりする気持ちが大切です。産後は体力も回復途上でとにかく休むことが必要。私は産後1ヶ月は床に横になりながら、パパに家のことを任せる時間を多く作ってもらいました。この期間、ママの負担を減らし、心身の安定を図ることが、その後の育児にも良い影響を与えます。パパがこの投稿を見て産後のママの変化を理解し、寄り添ってくれることが何より心強い支えになります。ぜひ一緒に心の準備をして、穏やかな産後ライフを迎えてくださいね。
