Grandma’s Kitchen in HILLTOP PLAZA in Mt. HEALTHY

4/30 Edited to

... Read moreIf you're a soul food enthusiast or just eager to try authentic Southern cuisine, Grandma’s Kitchen in Hilltop Plaza offers a genuinely comforting dining experience. What stands out most is their commitment to traditional recipes—each dinner comes with two sides and cornbread, making it a generous and satisfying meal. From personal experience, the fried or baked chicken offers a delightful choice depending on your preference for crispy or lighter options. I highly recommend trying the turkey chops, which can be fried or smothered, and come packed with robust flavors—a perfect example of soul food done right. The variety of sides is impressive too. Classics such as collard greens, mac & cheese, potato salad, and green beans let you customize your meal according to what you’re craving. Don’t miss out on the weekend-only pinto beans if you visit on a Saturday or Sunday. And as a bonus, the salmon croquettes and salmon nuggets provide a tasty seafood twist that balances the menu. For those who love a little extra heat or unique flavor combinations, the wing flavors like mild, Parmesan garlic, lemon pepper honey, hot spicy garlic, and BBQ/honey BBQ offer a great range to suit different palates. To drink, the selection of cool beverages like blue lemonade, grape Koolaid, and classic lemonade perfectly complements the hearty meals. Overall, Grandma’s Kitchen captures the heart of soul food with homemade charm and mouthwatering dishes. It’s a welcoming spot where you can savor traditional flavors that remind you of home-cooked meals. If you find yourself near Mt. Healthy, this place is definitely worth the visit for a filling and flavorful soul food feast.

The Breakfast Club - was not very busy when we went around noon. the interior was so fun and definitely photo worthy. portion sizes were larger than expected. delicious, but nothing crazy special. Kazunori - about a 20 minute wait to be seated which was expected since seating is limited. i LOVED

Coraline Cold Brew honest review ✨👀
I tried the Coraline canned cold brew! Honestly I reeeally like it. If you can get one you should! I went to the Coraline coffee pop up at Stumptown, Portland and it tastes just as good. I found the coffee in Vegas at Whole Foods but I’m sure you can find it in other cities and states at other

I absolutely love this book! It introduced us to Apollo and Artemis! I loved every part of this book even the saddening deaths of Zoe and Bianca. I loved the twist at the end when Thalia joins the Hunters and swears off men for life lol. The saddest part is definitely when Percy goes back to camp a
