Another must-do is the Santo Domingo day trip, where not only do you get to explore the historic colonial city, but you also enjoy a lunch and tour of a beautiful cenote—all from about $85 per person. This balance of history, nature, and local flavor makes for a memorable day. If you’re a thrill-seeker or love off-the-beaten-path experiences, ATV tours combined with a coffee plantation visit and sampling Mamajuana—a traditional Dominican herbal drink—are available for as low as $30 per person. It’s a unique blend of adventure and culture that your resort can’t match. For a more full-day immersive experience, Scape Park offers eco-adventures including ziplining and cave exploration, starting at $129 per person—a bit pricier but packed with excitement and natural beauty.
