... Read moreI've been on a mission to find the best baby products for my little one, especially since developing a routine for sensitive skin has been a top priority. When I first heard about Coterie diapers and wipes, I was intrigued but also a bit skeptical – could they really live up to the hype? After using them for a while now, I can honestly say: yes, they absolutely do! Let's talk about the wipes first, as the OCR mentioned "The Wipe is gentle on newborn and eczema-prone skin" – and this is 100% my experience. My baby has incredibly delicate skin, prone to redness and even eczema flare-ups with other brands. Coterie wipes are so soft and thick, almost like a cloth, and truly feel gentle. I've noticed a significant reduction in irritation since switching. They don't have that harsh, chemical smell some other wipes do, which gives me peace of mind. For me, that alone makes them worth it. I no longer feel the need to immediately apply barrier creams after every change, which definitely helps reduce the need for other baby care products in our routine. Now, onto the diapers. The first thing you notice is how incredibly soft they are. Seriously, they feel like cotton against the skin, not crinkly plastic. This softness is a game-changer for comfort, especially for an active baby. But softness isn't enough without performance, right? I've put them to the test, both during the day and for those long stretches at night. For day vs. night use, Coterie diapers have been impressive. During the day, they move with my baby, preventing any chafing or awkward bunching. And at night? Oh my goodness, the leak protection is unparalleled. We used to wake up to wet sheets regularly, even with 'overnight' diapers from other brands. With Coterie, we've had virtually no leaks. The absorbent core really holds up through 10-12 hours of sleep, which means more sleep for everyone! Regarding the sustainability aspect, while I'm not an expert, I appreciate Coterie's commitment to using plant-based materials and being free of harsh chemicals. The texture and feel of both the diapers and wipes feel far more natural than many traditional brands, which aligns with my desire for plastic-free baby care where possible. While no disposable diaper is perfectly 'green,' Coterie feels like a step in the right direction, offering a premium, skin-friendly option without compromising on performance. So, *are Coterie wipes and diapers worth it*? For me, absolutely. The peace of mind knowing my baby's skin is protected, the lack of leaks, and the overall comfort they provide are priceless. It's a premium product, but the benefits – less irritation, fewer leaks, and happier baby – far outweigh the cost for my family. I genuinely believe if you have a baby with sensitive skin or are just looking for top-tier performance, Coterie is definitely worth trying.
