At my brothers rotc comp and there was a coast guard table and my brother was seeing how many pushups he could do cuz they were gunna see who could do the most and this fat red head kid in drill uniform says “ you call that a push up?” And the person at the coast guard table said “ you think you could do better?” And so the fat kid proceeds to do 2 horrible push ups idk if you could even call them push ups and said “ 2 of these are more respectful than 100 of those” ….Like bro. And also my brother was in a raiders uniform and he is actually fit and the other kid was in a drill uniform and bro he would literally die if he tried to do raiders and plus your not even supposed to do pushups in drill uniform.. ya

Proper form is essential to benefit fully and avoid injury, and it’s common for peers to encourage each other to do better during competitions. However, it's equally important to respect everyone’s effort and not judge based on appearance or uniform changes. Reflecting on this, I appreciate how these ROTC events cultivate both physical fitness and respect among youths aspiring to serve. They teach lessons about perseverance, humility, and respect—qualities crucial for any military or service-oriented career path.
