ADHD travel tips that actually help: Part 2
I stopped trying to “just remember everything” when I travel.
These tiny systems have made travelling way less chaotic:
❻ Save key travel info as your lock screen
Flight number, hotel name, check-in time, hotel area, emergency contact.
If you can see it, you’re more likely to remember it. No digging through emails when you arrive.
❼ Switch to one-earbud mode
One earbud in. One ear open.
You stay stimulated enough without tuning out announcements, gate changes or boarding calls.
❽ Pack a “first 12 hours” pouch
Charger, power bank, toothbrush, medication, spare underwear.
If your luggage gets delayed, you can still shower, charge your phone and survive the first night.
❾ Rename your hotel to HOTEL
Save your accommodation as “HOTEL” on Google Maps before your trip.
When you’re tired, lost or rushing at night, you can just search “HOTEL” and get directions instantly.
