3 Skincare Tips That Changed Everything For Me

If there’s one thing my 30s taught me, it’s that good skin isn’t about hoarding serums — it’s about smart, consistent habits. These are three that genuinely changed the game for me 👇

✨ 1. Don’t skip your morning cleanse

Unless you have an inflammatory skin condition, this should be a non negotiable. There’s nothing more icky than the sweat, drool and sebum build up from the night lingering, it’s also very pro-inflammatory, a factor in premature aging. A gentle gel or cream cleanser takes off sweat, oils and leftover actives, prepping the skin for your morning routine and SPF.

🧴 2. Sandwich your actives

If your retinol or exfoliant has ever made you peel like an Goldmember (put it in the schkin box!), buffering is your best friend. Moisturiser before and after strong actives protects your barrier while still getting results. Think of it as a speed bump, go a little slower to get to the same place but with fewer accidents.

💆‍♀️ 3. Facial massage isn’t fluff

It looks indulgent, but a few minutes of facial massage has genuinely helped my circulation and tension. I use simple strokes with firm pressure across my jaw, cheekbones, orbit and forehead.
