As someone who works out 5-6 times a week, I've found a rhythm that truly works for my body and energy levels, and I'm excited to share a deeper dive into what makes my 'Eva pilates workout' tick! First off, let's talk about reformer pilates. It’s a huge part of my Monday and Sunday routine, with 50 mins reformer pilates sessions. For me, the reformer offers an incredible way to build core strength, improve flexibility, and achieve that long, lean muscle tone without putting excess strain on my joints. It’s not just about the physical challenge; it’s also a mind-body connection that helps me destress and focus. If you're new to reformer pilates, I highly recommend finding a studio that offers beginner classes. Don't be intimidated by the equipment; it's designed to support and challenge you at the same time! Beyond just pilates, I make sure my week is well-rounded. On Wednesdays, I switch things up with a 45 mins hot endurance flow. This is where I get my cardio and stamina boost! The heat really helps with detoxification and deepening stretches, while the flow aspect keeps my heart rate up. It’s a fantastic complement to the strength and control I build in pilates. And let's not forget the importance of everyday movement! Even with my structured workouts, hitting my 10k steps on Friday/Saturday (and most other days!) is non-negotiable. It helps with active recovery, keeps my metabolism up, and honestly, just clears my head. Maintaining a consistent workout schedule of 5-6 times a week, especially as a 25 year old girl with a busy life, requires listening to your body. Some days, that 50 mins reformer pilates might feel like a breeze; other days, it’s a real grind. It’s okay to adjust intensity or even swap a high-impact day for something gentler if you’re feeling rundown. The key is consistency, not perfection. Find what motivates you, whether it’s a great playlist, a workout buddy, or simply that post-workout glow. This routine, combining strength, flexibility, and endurance, has been a game-changer for my overall well-being. I hope my weekly snapshot gives you some ideas for your own fitness journey!
