Tired of just dealing with it

I got tired of feeling like I just had to “deal with it.”

Like somehow mood swings, brain fog, restless nights, feeling off, and random body changes were just supposed to become my new normal.

Absolutely not.

At some point, I had to stop brushing it off and start paying attention to what my body was trying to tell me.

Because perimenopause is already enough without feeling like you have to figure everything out alone.

If you’re in this season too… I see you.

... Read moreExperiencing perimenopause can feel isolating and frustrating, especially when society often tells women to 'just deal with it.' As someone who has gone through this transition, I know how challenging mood swings, brain fog, and restless nights can be — they really disrupt daily life. What helped me most was shifting from ignoring these signs to actively listening to my body’s messages. I started journaling my symptoms daily, which helped me identify patterns and triggers. For instance, I realized that poor sleep worsened my brain fog and mood swings, so prioritizing restful nights became a focus. Integrating gentle exercise, like yoga and walking, also improved my overall energy and mood stability. Nutrition played a crucial role too — balancing blood sugar with regular, wholesome meals helped reduce sudden mood dips. It’s important to remember that results vary and self-care isn’t one-size-fits-all. I found support groups online where many women shared similar experiences, reducing the feeling of going through perimenopause alone. Talking openly and seeking guidance from healthcare professionals made me feel empowered rather than defeated. While supplements can be helpful, they should be part of a broader wellness approach and used after consulting a doctor. I also remind myself that fluctuating hormone levels can cause these changes, so patience and kindness to oneself during this time are essential. To anyone feeling like they must just 'deal with it': your health journey is valid, and you deserve to find strategies that bring relief and restore balance. Paying attention to your body’s signals can lead to more effective coping, and embracing self-awareness opens the door to renewed wellness beyond the challenges of perimenopause.

You’ve tried to pray it away. You’ve tried to push through. But what if I told you God doesn’t just save your soul… He restores your peace, too. I’m living proof that anxiety doesn’t get the final say. Jesus does. This is your gentle reminder: Yes, God can heal that too. Even anxiety.
