Today we remember
Today marks another heartbreaking year for Brenda's loved ones who continue to hold onto hope that someone will do the right thing to bring her home.
On this day Brenda hosted a first birthday party for her son at her home. Family and friends piled in her home to celebrate. Although Brenda tried to make the most of it, there was a tense feeling in the air as Brenda's estranged husband Raymond Lambert and Brenda's cousin were also in attendance. Brenda's cousin was having an affair with Raymond. Brenda and Raymond were heading for divorce, and Ramond had moved out and was living with his parents. Raymond asked Brenda if the children could stay at his parents that night, Brenda reluctantly agreed. Around 9PM, the party was winding down and guests were leaving. This would be the last time Brenda was seen.
Although most know what happened and just who is responsible, Brenda's loved ones just want her home. Too much time has passed, and the irreversible damage from her loss could never be replaced. They pray everyday someone somewhere will reveal her location, to bring her home, to lay her to rest, finally next to her loving parents, who wished for her return while they were still on this earth.
