@Frida’s was a whole vibe from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was cute and cozy perfect for a chill night out or a little celebration.
We started with the queso, which was decent but could’ve used a little more flavor and a thinner consistency. Big Daddy, on the other hand, was all in with his guacamole he said it was a hit.
For entrées, he went with the classic ACP and let’s just say plate? Cleared. That man didn’t come to play. I had the Fajita Fridas loaded with shrimp, scallops, steak, and chicken. Everything was seasoned right and cooked perfectly. I poured it all over a bed of rice, drizzled the rest of my queso on top, and baby… flavor bomb.
To drink, I tried both the strawberry and coconut margaritas both were delicious but way too small. I needed a real drink, not a shot with a lime. Two sips and it was gone. Let’s run that back in a bigger glass next time!
They also sang happy birthday to my man and really made him feel special, which was a sweet touch and a big win in my book.
Overall, we give Frida’s an 8.5/10. The food was solid, the vibe was right, and we’ll definitely be back.
