Bath England
📍Bath, England
There is so much more to England than London so I took a trip to this beautiful historical city.
I stayed right in the city center at @henrietta_house_radisson . This stay was absolutely perfect. The minute I walked in I knew I would enjoy my stay. Check in was seamless. My room was exactly like the pictures. I highly recommend this beautiful stay if you ever visit Bath.

You know, when I first planned my trip, I was just looking for something different from London, and Bath truly delivered. If you're wondering what makes Bath, England, so special and why it's the perfect spot for a city break, let me share my experience! It's so much more than just a destination; it's a journey back in time, offering a unique blend of history and modern charm. First up, you absolutely cannot visit Bath without immersing yourself (figuratively, of course!) in the ancient Roman Baths. Walking through those incredibly preserved historical ruins, imagining life centuries ago, it's just an incredible experience. This is undoubtedly what Bath is known for, offering a unique glimpse into its past as a wellness destination for the Romans. The engineering and architecture are mind-blowing, and the museum provides such rich context to the city's origins. It truly makes you appreciate the depth of Bath's history. Beyond the Roman legacy, Bath's Georgian architecture is simply stunning. Strolling around the Royal Crescent and The Circus, you'll feel like you've stepped into a period drama. The uniform, honey-coloured stone buildings are so elegant and give the city its unique, sophisticated charm. It’s perfect for a leisurely walk, enjoying the city's aesthetic, and capturing some breathtaking photos. Every corner turned reveals another architectural masterpiece, making it a joy to explore on foot. And for all the literature lovers out there, Bath has a strong connection to Jane Austen. You can visit the Jane Austen Centre to learn more about her time here and how it influenced her novels. It adds another layer of cultural richness to your Bath experience, connecting you with one of England's most beloved authors. For a city break, Bath is incredibly walkable, which I loved as a solo traveler. I spent hours just wandering the quaint streets, discovering independent shops, cozy cafes, and hidden gems. Don't forget to visit Bath Abbey, right next to the Roman Baths – its intricate details and stunning stained glass windows are breathtaking. And Pulteney Bridge, with shops built right into it, is another iconic spot for a photo op; it’s one of only a handful of such bridges in the world. After all that exploring, you'll definitely work up an appetite. Bath has an amazing food scene, from traditional afternoon teas (a must-do!) to modern eateries and charming pubs. I enjoyed trying some local treats and finding a quiet spot to people-watch – a perfect way to recharge and soak in the atmosphere. The city offers a fantastic variety of culinary delights for every taste. Honestly, Bath is the perfect size for a city break. You can see so much in a few days without feeling rushed, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy your surroundings. It's also incredibly easy to get to from London by train, making it an ideal escape for a weekend or a longer stay. As the saying goes and as I saw on an image, 'Come to Bath, England' – you won't regret immersing yourself in its rich history and beautiful scenery!
