WINTER PILATES TIPS ❄️

Hi lovely’s!

Today I returned to Pilates and was destroyed! In a good way 😹 the best burn you’ll ever have is in this class where you’re pushing yourself past your own means! 👌🏾 #winter WEATHER alerts have been going on, so we’re expecting snow all week ☃️!!

Tips:

Wear warm clothes into class because of the cold, but light clothes during your session so you stay cool!

Make sure you don’t forget your long sticky socks 🧦 or your ankles will be cold!

Make sure to relax and stretch out at the end so your body doesn’t get shocked from the temperature difference when exiting the studio! (For me I get sick with quick temp changes but it’s not everyone!)

This strategy not only helps you perform better but also prevents overheating. Additionally, don’t forget about the importance of high-quality sticky socks. These provide extra grip on the studio mats while keeping your feet warm. Choosing socks that fit well and stay in place during your workout can enhance your performance and comfort. Post-class, take some time to engage in relaxing stretches to help your body adjust to the temperature change when you exit the studio. Performing stretches can alleviate any tension caused by rapidly shifting temperatures, helping you feel more grounded. It’s also a good opportunity to reflect on your sessions and make notes on your personal progress. By keeping these tips in mind, you can create a fulfilling and productive Pilates practice during the winter months!
