life hacks: ordering coffee
1. order matters! - for most locations, the consensus is to order size, temp (hot, iced, blended), drink name, modifications. This is how we prefer it at my location, it may not necessarily be the same everywhere but this is how I would order it.
2. know the ingredients of your coffee/name - if you say you want a “white mocha with toasted marshmallow and regular chocolate” and your barista isn’t thinking about it, you may get charged for a white mocha plus 2 flavors (which is an additional price per flavor). however, if you just order a campfire mocha - it’s cheaper! knowing what comes in the coffee you prefer and if there’s a cheaper way to order it can save you money and ordering time!
3. be kind! - if you’re kind to your barista, they will probably give you free stuff! if they accidentally put a little extra flavor but you’re nice to them, they may just give you that extra flavor for free! or better, they may remake the drink and give you the mess up! they may also give you free bonuses like extra drizzle or whipped cream! kindness goes a long way for us baristas!

Also can we normalize fixing our stuff instead of giving the baristas a hard time, like if they add whipped cream to the top and you didn’t want it, you can just take if off I’ve done it 😭
