If you’re a slow walker PLEASE go faster
As someone who frequently navigates crowded school halls between classes, I've often found slow walkers to be a major obstacle when trying to get somewhere on time. It can be especially frustrating when halls are packed, and there’s barely any space to move around. From personal experience, it feels like the only way to keep things flowing smoothly is if everyone picks up their pace just a little. One trick I’ve learned is to stay alert and, if you find yourself behind a slow walker, try to carefully go around them, if the space allows. However, this isn’t always possible in tightly packed hallways. That’s why it’s so important for people who tend to walk slowly to be mindful of their speed during busy times. What’s helped me is reminding myself that walking just a bit faster won’t only get me to class quicker but also reduces congestion and stress for everyone else. Additionally, being considerate by avoiding stopping abruptly or walking side by side in narrow corridors can make a huge difference. Ultimately, it’s about cooperation—when everyone tries to move efficiently, crowded spaces become less of a hassle. So if you’re a slow walker, consider picking up the pace a bit, especially when the halls are crowded. Trust me, it makes a noticeable difference and helps keep the flow going during those hectic school days!
