Lately life’s been like.. 💭💭💭

Lately, life has truly been a beautiful whirlwind, and I've been making a conscious effort to stay grounded in gratitude. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily rush, but I've found that pausing to acknowledge the small, precious moments makes all the difference. It's not about grand gestures, but about the quiet joys that color our days. Take, for instance, my mornings. There's nothing quite like waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and a delicious spread of scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and fluffy pancakes. It’s a simple luxury that sets a positive tone for the entire day. And speaking of simple pleasures, I recently devoured some amazing Mexican street corn, or 'elote' – that perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory, enjoyed on a sunny afternoon in the car. It’s these unexpected little treats that pop up and instantly brighten my mood. My fur family has also been a huge source of comfort and laughter. There's our adorable merle French bulldog, Channel, with her sweet, soulful eyes, always ready for a cuddle. And then there's Guapo, our shaggy white dog, whose playful antics bring so much joy. We also welcomed some precious two-month-old puppies recently; watching them explore the world from their cozy cage has been incredibly heartwarming. Pets truly have a way of reminding us to live in the present and cherish unconditional love. Family moments, big and small, have been at the core of my happiness. From seeing a baby sleeping peacefully, completely oblivious to the world, to watching a young boy with his dog at a construction site – these are the snapshots that fill my heart. Even a quick selfie in the car, with my favorite winged eyeliner and a septum piercing, feels like a little moment of self-love and appreciation for who I am. It's about finding that balance between personal reflection and shared experiences. I've also been soaking in the beauty of the world around me. Recently, I took a drive along a scenic road where the sunset painted the mountains in incredible hues, and the wind turbines stood majestically against the sky. It was a breathtaking reminder of nature's grandeur and the calm it can bring to a busy mind. These moments of stillness and awe are invaluable. Embracing gratitude isn't always easy, but it's a practice I'm dedicating myself to more than ever. Life truly is too short to let the good pass by unnoticed. By actively looking for things to appreciate – whether it's a delicious meal, a pet's affection, a family laugh, or a stunning view – I'm finding that my days are richer, fuller, and much more joyful.
