I’m still visiting my parents which has given me some time to finally edit some of the content I’ve been putting off. Like this apple cider bread. This recipe was so good but I just couldn’t bring myself to sit down and edit the footage lol I used the apple cider pull apart bread recipe from the vanilla bean blog. I did change out the icing and made a brown butter icing instead because I don’t like cream cheese. Fair warning this recipe takes a lot of time patience. It requires multiple rises plus an overnight rise so be sure to plan accordingly. But it was (thankfully) so worth it. #fallaesthetic #fallvibes #fallbaking #cozyvibes #cottagecoreaesthetic
Baking apple cider pull apart bread is a truly rewarding experience, especially during the fall season when the aroma of spices and cider fills the kitchen. One useful tip I've learned is to make sure your dough rises in a warm, draft-free area to achieve the best texture. The multiple rises and overnight proofing help develop the flavors deeply, making each bite delightful. Swapping out traditional cream cheese icing for a brown butter icing enhances the bread’s rich and nutty undertones, perfectly complementing the apple cider flavor. Brown butter adds a caramel-like depth that balances the sweetness beautifully. I found that gently browning the butter until it releases a toasty aroma before mixing it into the icing makes a significant difference. If you decide to try this recipe, consider preparing it the day before you plan to serve it, due to the necessary proofing times. It’s worth the wait when you slice into the soft, pull-apart layers full of flavor. Pairing this bread with a warm cup of tea or cider creates an inviting and cozy atmosphere, perfect for fall gatherings or quiet evenings at home. Additionally, feel free to experiment by adding nuts like pecans or walnuts into the layers for an extra crunch, or even sprinkle some cinnamon sugar before rolling to elevate the aroma and taste. This bread fits wonderfully into the #fallbaking and #cozyvibes themes, making it a seasonal favorite that complements a cottagecore aesthetic perfectly.
