📋👔✏️ MONDAY MUSING 🤍

Oh, Mondays! Today was one of those days. My morning coffee didn’t quite hit the spot, and I struggled to find the energy to get out of bed. I had to give myself a little pep talk just to leave the house.

After missing work for about four days due to being sick last week, I finally made it in. It was a whirlwind of meetings back-to-back. Something was weighing heavily on my heart, but I’ll save that story for another day.

In the middle of the day, I asked God to take control and not let my overthinking get the best of me. I prayed for clarity about the season He’s guiding me through and shuffled my playlist for some inspiration.

First up was "Praise You in This Storm" by Casting Crowns. I couldn’t help but wonder what message God was sending me. Then "Wait on You" by Maverick City, featuring Dante Bowe, came on. Such a powerful song! It felt like God was telling me to trust the process and stay patient through this season. As a woman, it’s tough not to get overwhelmed and overthink everything. But today, I decided to give all my worries and anxieties to the Lord.

I also asked God for a good word to touch my heart today, and He delivered with Philemon 1:1-25. It’s a letter from Paul written from prison, reminding me that even in our toughest storms or when we feel imprisoned by our circumstances, we can still reach out and share God’s goodness with others.
