Wireframing is a fundamental step I embrace fully; whether on paper or through digital tools, these sketches serve as the skeleton of the final design. Using Figma has become a game-changer because it supports real-time teamwork and a streamlined design system ensuring consistency across the interface. Visual design layers bring typography, colors, and components together cohesively, but importantly, these have to be tested rigorously. Even testing with as few as five users can highlight 80% of key usability problems, which emphasizes the value of user research and behavior observation over mere opinions. Throughout my experience, I have realized that while mastering design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma is essential, the real skill lies in clearly understanding the problem space and the user's needs. This user-centric approach along with frequent iterations based on real feedback makes the design successful and impactful.
