Alice's little haunted bookshop

Wandered into Alice’s Haunted Little Bookshop and instantly felt like I stepped into a gothic fairytale. Shelves filled with horror—both classic and new—plus eerie collectibles, mythology gems, and even spooky kid books! It was the perfect mix of creepy and cozy, and I could’ve spent hours getting lost in those haunted pages.

Inside, the atmosphere is a perfect blend of eerie and utterly cozy. I was immediately drawn to the shelves overflowing with an incredible selection of horror, from spine-chilling classics to cutting-edge new releases. But it doesn't stop there. Mythology and folklore enthusiasts will be in heaven, with titles like 'Odin,' 'Medusa,' 'Scottish Folk & Fairy Tales,' 'Norse Mythology,' 'Atlas of Cursed Places,' and 'Cursed Objects' just begging to be explored. It’s clear the owner has a deep passion for these subjects. Beyond the books, the shop is filled with fascinating, eerie collectibles that add to its unique charm. My eyes were caught by a life-sized skeleton holding a 'WANTED' poster near a ladder stacked high with literary treasures – it truly felt like a scene from a story! It's the kind of spot where you could easily lose track of time, getting lost among titles like 'DICTIONARY OF BATTLES' and even a quirky 'HANSEL & GRETEL DEFEATED.' The blend of playful spookiness with serious literary depth is really what makes this bookshop so special. If you're ever in Mystic, Connecticut, and seeking an escape from the ordinary, Alice's Little Haunted Bookshop is an absolute must-visit.
