Styling the Tree with Dark Red Accents and Bows 🎀🍷
The trend this year continues to be bows, along with the color burgundy. I wanted to follow this trend, and here’s the result.
In August, I found the viral velvet ornaments from Hobby Lobby, and without even realizing it, I bought them in this gorgeous dark brown-red color in two different sizes. I’m so glad I did!
To add texture, I included these dark berries from Dollar Tree, and for a neutral, winter touch, I added frosted white berries from Kirkland’s (from last year).
For an elegant touch, I included long burgundy bows and gold tinsel. I mixed polyester ribbon and velvet yarn to give the tree different textures and a gradient of color.
This tree is beautiful even without decoration. It’s a 7’ pre-lit King Noble Flock Tree. It looks very realistic and is perfect for a minimalist style.
For a stunning focal point and to wrap everything up, I added a gold metal starburst from Target.
