Additionally, gentle nutrition focusing on easy-to-digest foods can support the immune system without overwhelming the body. Another aspect that helped me prevent further relapses was slowly reintroducing physical activity. Starting with light stretching or short walks, and gradually increasing as strength returns, prevents overwhelming the body. I also pay attention to mental wellness since stress can prolong sickness. Simple mindfulness practices like deep breathing or meditation built into daily routines can ease anxiety during recovery. Lastly, if symptoms worsen or fail to improve, it’s crucial to seek medical advice promptly. A healthcare provider can help rule out complications or adjust treatment if necessary. Managing a relapse means being extra careful and patient, with an emphasis on self-care techniques that nurture healing without rushing the process.
