My favorite book of the year

📖 Name of the Book: The Light We Lost

📄 Plot: The book takes place over the course of 13 years starting with two college students aspiring to make a name for themselves and create a difference in the world. They met again a year after graduating college, but have to separate again because of their different career paths. Their journey is a unique one filled with dreams, desires, jealousy, and love.

📖 Genre: Romance

📄 My Favorite Quote: “She thinks of every romance she’s in as if it’s a type of fire.” The character Kate uses this to compare love to three different types of fires. A wildfire is a love that burns bright with passion, but it spreads too quickly and can burn you before you even realize. A hearth fire is calm, tamed and nourishing. A sparkler is just a quick one night stand.

💭 My Thoughts: I absolutely fell in love with this book. It was the first book to ever make me so invested that I cried. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s believe in right person, wrong time or just enjoys romance novels!
