Saturday in College in NYC
This weekend my mom and brother were in town so I got to explore the city with them! We made our way to SoHo after eating breakfast and getting some work done. We shopped till we dropped and then obviously had to get a sweet treat from Little Cupcake Bakeshop. And then for dinner we went to the Flat Iron District before going home to hang out with my college friends!
Spending a Saturday in NYC can be an enriching experience for college students, mixing academic life with leisure. Start your day with breakfast at popular spots like Maman, known for its French-inspired dishes. Afterward, immerse yourself in the shopping scene in SoHo, a hub for trendy boutiques and notable stores. Don't miss local gems like The Strand bookstore, perfect for literature lovers, or the unique offerings at Little Cupcake Bakeshop, a favorite for dessert enthusiasts. As evening approaches, explore dining options in the Flat Iron District. For a taste of fine dining, Il Fiorista offers a menu that marries floral notes with fresh local produce. Savor a charcuterie board or indulge in homemade pasta dishes that reflect the season’s best. The blend of academic commitments and exploration of NYC's culinary landscape enriches student life and creates lasting memories. With so many options available, every Saturday in the city can be a unique adventure waiting to be discovered.
