Saturday in College in NYC

This weekend my mom and brother were in town so I got to explore the city with them! We made our way to SoHo after eating breakfast and getting some work done. We shopped till we dropped and then obviously had to get a sweet treat from Little Cupcake Bakeshop. And then for dinner we went to the Flat Iron District before going home to hang out with my college friends!

Start your day with breakfast at popular spots like Maman, known for its French-inspired dishes. Afterward, immerse yourself in the shopping scene in SoHo, a hub for trendy boutiques and notable stores. Don't miss local gems like The Strand bookstore, perfect for literature lovers, or the unique offerings at Little Cupcake Bakeshop, a favorite for dessert enthusiasts. As evening approaches, explore dining options in the Flat Iron District. For a taste of fine dining, Il Fiorista offers a menu that marries floral notes with fresh local produce. With so many options available, every Saturday in the city can be a unique adventure waiting to be discovered.

COLLEGE IN NYC: THE RULEBOOK
1. Don’t Take an Empty Subway Car 🚊 If you see an empty car on a packed train, there’s a reason—usually a foul smell, broken AC, or worse. Stick with the crowd, even if it’s cramped. 2. Step to the Side on the Sidewalk 🚶‍♀️ NYC sidewalks are like highways: keep moving or pull over to the side
