THE PRETTIEST FRENCH PASTRIES FROM A HOMEBAKER 🥐🇫🇷

📍petitto

the first time i saw this homebaker’s ig page, i was super impressed by how beautiful her pastries looked! i had to try a few of her signature items 😆

all the pastries were extremely flaky, buttery and the laminations looked incredible! my fav was the raspberry choco suisse, which is their SG60 special 🍫🍓 i also loved the nuttiness of the pistachio praline scroll, which was rich and indulgent 🥜🌰

all their items cost around $4-5 which is sooo reasonable for such high quality bakes 😙 check them out on ig, and u can easily collect from their place a short walk away from somerset mrt :)

... Read moreIf you're new to French pastries or looking to explore home-based bakeries around Somerset, Petitto is a fantastic choice. What makes their offerings stand out is the expert layering technique learned from Le Cordon Bleu training, which creates that perfect flakiness in every croissant and scroll. I found the Pistachio Praline Scroll particularly satisfying — it’s rich and nutty without being overpowering, making it ideal for an afternoon snack or pairing with coffee. The Raspberry Choco Suisse strikes a wonderful balance between tart fruitiness and smooth chocolate, adding a touch of sweetness that feels indulgent but not excessive. Beyond taste, the affordability of these pastries surprised me. Priced around $4 to $5 each, Petitto offers gourmet quality at a budget-friendly price. Plus, their collection point close to Somerset MRT makes pickup convenient, especially for busy city dwellers. For those interested in trying a variety, I recommend sampling both their sweet and savory selections, like the Pain Au Chocolat and Maple Bacon & Cheese pastries mentioned in their image captions. These highlight the diverse creativity of this home-based baker’s menu. Exploring home-based bakeries like Petitto can be a delightful way to support local artisans while indulging in authentic, handcrafted French pastries. Keep an eye out for seasonal specials and unique flavor combos to broaden your pastry experience!

Trying out this home baker madeleines box as the location is nearby plus the bakes always look so tantalising. At just $15, I must say it’s a good mix with lots of flavours to try. I particularly liked the cinnamon madeleine. Soft and not too sweet. Their preorder slots fill fast so do watch out
