homebased businesses have really upped their game, like this new hbb that sells one of the nicest curry pngs i’ve tried 🍛🥘
each set comes with the classic sides like a fried egg (with a runny yolk) 🍳, garlicky cabbage 🥬 and a bed of fluffy white rice 🍚
their signature item is definitely the curry chicken rice, which comes with HUGE tender chunks of chicken thigh (and even A DRUMSTICK 🍗). the curry chicken is honestly flavourful enough, i didn’t even need to add more of the curry sauce they provided 😋
i also really enjoyed their handmade meatballs, that were packed with CRUNCHY VEGGIES (carrot, black fungus etc.) and JUICY PORK 🥕🍄🟫🐷 their chicken chop is another 🌟, esp cuz the batter wasn’t too thick so the tender meat could shine!
besides serving up yummy food, their brand story is incredibly touching ☺️ the owners are a pair of siblings whose parents ran a humble cai png stall for over 20 years. inspired by their parents’ dedication, they decided to leave their corporate jobs to revive and preserve the family’s signature recipes 🥘
through their dishes, they hope to bring back a sense of nostalgia, comfort, and the feeling of home! after trying their food, i think they’ve definitely fulfilled their goal :)
