WRAP BETTER & CHEAPER THAN MCDONALD’S 🌯

📍 mama mia

this hbb serves up homemade wraps and matcha 🌯🍵 simple offerings, but executed really well and absolutely delicious!

i tried their egg with cheesy chicken wrap, which came loaded with a fried chicken cutlet, fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese and tomato sauce, all neatly wrapped in a tortilla 🌯 the mix of ingredients made it a super satisfying meal, with a great balance of textures and flavours. my fav part was definitely the scrambled eggs!! they were so creamy and cooked to perfection 🍳

don’t be fooled by the size, cuz it’s actually really filling! it also wasn’t oily at all, so the wrap tasted clean and light 👍

a drink is a must to go along with the wraps, and their strawberry matcha latte was a pleasant surprise 🍓🍵 it wasn’t too sweet, and the homemade strawberry purée added a slight tartness that paired really nicely with the matcha. it also wasn’t overly milky, so the matcha fragrance could really shine through.

overall, this made for a really satisfying brunch 😋 definitely check them out if you’re around hougang!

... Read moreIf you love wrap meals that are both filling and light, you can't go wrong with a chicken cutlet wrap like this one. What impressed me most was the perfectly cooked fluffy scrambled eggs, which added a creamy texture that contrasted wonderfully with the crispy fried chicken cutlet. The tomato sauce and cheese balanced the flavors without overpowering them. A great tip is to pair your wrap with a drink that complements these flavors. The strawberry matcha latte here stood out with its homemade strawberry purée giving a nice tartness, enhancing the delicate bitterness of the matcha. It's neither too sweet nor too milky, allowing the matcha’s fragrance to shine, making your meal even more enjoyable. For those wondering how this compares to fast-food options like McDonald's, this homemade wrap feels fresher and less oily while still being very satisfying. Plus, the portion size is surprisingly generous, making it a great value. Next time you’re in Hougang, I highly recommend stopping by to treat yourself to this tasty combo that’s both wallet-friendly and delicious!
