China Eastern Business Class? YAY or NAY ✈️

Flew 5hrs from SG - Shanghai on a red eye flight. This is my first time taking a china airline business class so I was super curious on the hard/soft product!

Hard product: (aka lounge access, seating)

1. Lounge Access: 4/10. They use SATS lounge, and if you've ever been there, you know that's it's a small space with limited seatings. I basically just grabbed a drink and headed out.

2. Seats: 10/10. THE ABSOLUTE BEST. You actually get to position your feet straight unlike other airlines which lie slanted. I had a great sleep. I guess only downside is that for some strange reason, the blanket is so short. you either get to cover just your feet or your body

side toilet: their biz class toilets was also very big.

3. Food: 7/10. Served on porcelain plates, nothing fantastic but still filling.

4. Biz class seats have a door that shuts all the way!!! feels like your own little room.

Soft Product: aka service 8/10. Friendly and very helpful. There were a lot of stewardess to the business class cabin so your needs will get addressed fast.

Overall, highly recommend this business class product!! Our one way flight to Shanghai was $900 so I personally feel it's very worth it, and you get to sleep throughout your flight.

... Read moreIn addition to the excellent seat comfort and privacy, one notable advantage of China Eastern's business class on the A350 is the ample storage space available around the seat. This helps keep personal items organized and within easy reach during the flight, enhancing convenience. Passengers traveling between Singapore and Shanghai will appreciate the direct overnight flight option, allowing them to maximize sleep thanks to seats that let you rest your legs fully straight—a feature not commonly found on other carriers like Singapore Airlines. While the lounge access to SATS lounge might feel a bit cramped with limited seating, this should not overshadow the comfort onboard. For those concerned about meal options, the airline serves food on porcelain plates and though the meals are not gourmet-level, they are satisfying and well-presented, contributing to the overall positive flying experience. If you prioritize privacy and uninterrupted rest, the sliding door on the business class seat literally creates your own cabin, a rare luxury in this travel segment. For travelers who enjoy attentive but unobtrusive service, numerous flight attendants are assigned to attend promptly to your needs. To sum up, if you are considering China Eastern business class for regional flights such as Singapore to Shanghai, you can expect a comfortable rest, privacy, and good value for the price paid. For anyone wanting to truly relax and arrive refreshed, this product is definitely worth considering.
